For the bourbon lover looking for the ULTIMATE distillery experience, Heaven & Evan is a must. This ultra-exclusive tour takes guests behind the scenes at two of Kentucky’s best distilleries.
What to Expect
You’ll depart from the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville at 3:45 p.m. Expand your bourbon knowledge with insight from your Mint Julep tour leader during the drive to Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center. When you arrive at the Bardstown distillery, you’ll be greeted by one of Heaven Hill’s best bourbon ambassadors and begin your private tour.
This after-hours experience heads to the rickhouse for a tour followed by a premium bourbon tasting.
Next, you’ll enjoy small bites in the visitors center and a signature cocktail. Take time to shop and pick out any souvenirs to purchase and bring home. Now its time to head back to Louisville for the next part of your bourbon adventure!
You’ll arrive at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience on Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville where the team will show you around the distillery after hours. There you’ll sip another craft cocktail and snack on a variety of appetizers and desserts. Next up is a private guided bourbon tasting of Evan Williams products. Ask questions, explore the flavors and aromas, and take in this awesome moment!
Your guided tour of the distillery includes an interactive history lesson and overview of the distillation process. Your experience ends in the gift shop where you’ll receive a commemorative, signed bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon. Finally, you’ll be dropped off back at the Galt House at approximately 9:30 p.m.
