Join us for Bourbon Sites & Small Bites with Chateau Bourbon and Mint Julep Tours. You’ll start out at the luxurious bed and breakfast Chateau Bourbon located in the heart of Norton Commons for a bourbon and small bites brunch experience. Then it’s off to Bourbon Country as we travel to Buffalo Trace Distillery for a full tour and tasting, followed by a trip to Kentucky Artisan Distillery for a private tour. Upon your return to Chateau Bourbon the folks with Kentucky Artisan will lead your bourbon tasting before the social hour that includes more small bites and a build your own Mint Julep bar!.
The initial bourbon and brunch bites experience at Chateau Bourbon includes 1 mimosa. The social hour at Chateau Bourbon includes 1 mint julep plus the small bites. Ticket price includes both distillery tours and tastings plus a swag bag.

American Pharoah – A Champions Tour
with Mint Julep Tours
Visit the Kentucky Derby Museum for two floors of interactive exhibits, a newly updated 360° immersive sound & visual experience “The Greatest Race,” Historic Walking Tour of Churchill Downs, and a stop in The Finish Line Gift Shop featuring American Pharoah merchandise. Then it’s off to Coolmore’s Ashford Stud to see their iconic stallion barns, which are home to Grand Slam Champion American Pharoah along with the likes of three-time champion sire Giant’s Causeway, and Kentucky Derby winners Fusaichi Pegasus and Thunder Gulch.
Ashford Stud does their best to always let fans see American Pharoah and other champions, however, no guarantees can be made for any particular tour. Showings are pending the health and welfare of the animals.

Start with a trip to the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, Ky for appetizers, cocktails and a bourbon tasting inside a working rickhouse. Master Distiller Denny Potter will lead the tasting that includes the rare opportunity to pull and taste straight from a barrel using a Whiskey Thief. Then you’ll head back to Louisville to the new Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, where you’ll enjoy more appetizers, desserts and cocktails in the Prohibition-Era Speakeasy Lounge. Artisanal Distiller Charlie Downs will lead a bourbon tasting before your guided tour. Guests will receive a bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel signed by both Master Distillers. Trust us, this is one experience you don’t want to miss.

Join us in Kitchen Studio at Bourbon Barrel Foods to be in the live studio audience as you watch a taping of “Secrets of Bluegrass Chefs.” You’ll see two of Kentucky’s top chefs cook with Tim Laird, Brown-Forman’s Chief Entertaining Officer and Kevin Harned, WAVE 3 TV Chief Meteorologist. Your ticket includes a cocktail meet-and-greet followed by a tour of the facility. At the conclusion of the show you will sample all the foods that the chefs prepared. Tickets are $60 each and the event runs from 10:00am to 12:30pm at Bourbon Barrel Foods located in the Butchertown Market (1201 Story Avenue #175 Louisville, Kentucky 40206.) Please note: Chefs for each date will be posted as soon as confirmed, but are not usually confirmed until about a month from the taping date.
