New Louisville Food Tours
Join Mint Julep Tours for themed progressive dinners inspired by the South’s most famous suppers. Hop around the city’s best restaurants for a food tour with three expertly-crafted dishes from top chefs during this summer’s Southern Supper Series. Each month, three new stops and three new chefs will plate their take on a classic for the innovative Urban Adventure. The first three exclusive dinners will center around fried chicken (July), biscuits (August) and pickles (September). The cost is $119 per person and includes three dishes with paired cocktails, guided transportation, and tax and restaurant gratuity at each venue.
Start with a trip to the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, Ky for appetizers, cocktails and a bourbon tasting inside a working rickhouse. Master Distiller Denny Potter will lead the tasting that includes the rare opportunity to pull and taste straight from a barrel using a Whiskey Thief. Then you’ll head back to Louisville to the new Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, where you’ll enjoy more appetizers, desserts and cocktails in the Prohibition-Era Speakeasy Lounge. Artisanal Distiller Charlie Downs will lead a bourbon tasting before your guided tour. Guests will receive a bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel signed by both Master Distillers. Trust us, this is one experience you don’t want to miss.

$185 per person – Departs at 3:45pm and returns at approx. 9:30pm. This experience departs from the Mint Julep Tours Gift Shop located in the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville.
Join us in Kitchen Studio at Bourbon Barrel Foods to be in the live studio audience as you watch a taping of “Secrets of Bluegrass Chefs.” You’ll see two of Kentucky’s top chefs cook with Tim Laird, Brown-Forman’s Chief Entertaining Officer and Kevin Harned, WAVE 3 TV Chief Meteorologist. Your ticket includes a cocktail meet-and-greet followed by a tour of the facility. At the conclusion of the show you will sample all the foods that the chefs prepared. Tickets are $60 each and the event runs from 10:00am to 12:30pm at Bourbon Barrel Foods located in the Butchertown Market (1201 Story Avenue #175 Louisville, Kentucky 40206.) Please note: Chefs for each date will be posted as soon as confirmed, but are not usually confirmed until about a month from the taping date.

Join us on the eve of the 2018 Kentucky Derby for Derby Eve Distilled! This exclusive Bourbon & Culinary Experience at Buffalo Trace Distillery includes an After Hours Private Distillery Tour & Tasting, a Bourbon Inspired Dinner, Signature Cocktails, Live Bluegrass Band and Cigars on the Porch!
There are two ticket types for this experience. One that includes transportation departing from the Galt House Hotel in Downtown Louisville and one that does not. Please make sure you select the correct ticket type with booking.
