Stitzel-Weller Bourbon Tour
About Stitzel Weller
Originally opened on Kentucky Derby Day in 1935 and reopened to the public in 2014, Stitzel-Weller Distillery is one of the most storied stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. Once home to Bulleit Bourbon, this distillery is now the home for Blade & Bow, I.W. Harper, and Orphan Barrel. By blending deep bourbon history with a polished, modern visitor experience, The Stitzel-Weller Distillery Tour guides guests through the legacy of bourbon making, including time inside a working rickhouse, immersive storytelling, and a guided tasting. During the tasting experience, you’ll sample a range of Stitzel-Weller's brands led by a knowledgable guide. Through Mint Julep Experiences’ special partnership with Stitzel-Weller, custom tour guests can access exclusive before-hours tours with an elevated tasting portfolio.

Our special partnership allows select groups to enjoy before-hours entry, meaning a quieter, more intimate walk through the historic grounds before the public arrives. Guests are treated to elevated tastings featuring premium and limited-release expressions from the Diageo portfolio, often led by knowledgeable hosts who go beyond the standard script. These private moments inside the rickhouse and tasting rooms create a deeper connection to the distillery’s legacy and a far more memorable bourbon trail experience.
