Stops Inspired By Places, People & Things Seen On Top Chef: Kentucky
Each Southern Supper Series culinary tour starts at 5:15 p.m. at the first stop (Butchertown Grocery) and returns at approx. 9:45 p.m. The cost is $119 per person, plus taxes and fees. Upcoming dates include March 14, June 13, Sept. 12, and Oct. 17. Ticket are required in advance. Book online or call 502-583-1433. Price includes three courses paired with cocktails, guided transportation, bottled water and restaurant gratuity.
Enjoy an appetizer at chef Bobby Benjamin’s eatery in Butchertown. Top Chef judges Tom Colicchio and Graham Elliott visited Butchertown Grocery during their time in Kentucky. Your first course will be paired with a cocktail created by beverage director Nic Christainsen. Your main course comes from chef David Danielson’s newest restaurant, Old Stone Inn. Danielson is also head chef at iconic Churchill Downs and served as a guest judge on Top Chef: Kentucky’s first episode. The popular restaurant is a frequent stop by judges and superfans alike. Chef Lee is Louisville’s biggest celebrity chef due to his time on Top Chef, award-winning cookbooks, and highly reviewed restaurants. Your dessert at MilkWood will be paired with a drink too.
