Mint Julep Experiences is the only dedicated tour company focused on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. Based in downtown Nashville we specialize in Whiskey Distillery Tours, Exclusive Tennessee Experiences as well as unique Music Experiences. Mint Julep Experiences also offers corporate transportation with a focus on Music, Special Whiskey Events and Corporate outings.
As we continue to grow we have the need for Tour Drivers. We are seeking personal, friendly, outgoing and reliable people to escort our guests and visitors around Whiskey Country, the hills of Tennessee and Music City, USA. Our continued success is due largely to our passionate, hard working professional tour guides who impress our guests daily.
Job Requirements:
Candidates Require: Positive attitude and the love of Tennessee, Whiskey and Music. We will provide the rest.
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Drivers must be at least 21 years of age
- CDL License and previous Guide/Hosting experience (preferred)
- Customer Service Experience (preferred)

Director of Sales & Marketing
Mint Julep Experiences is looking for a LEADER to join our team to manage our successful and rapidly growing Nashville, Tennessee operation. Our company motto is “the purpose of fun is to have some” so if you are in a situation that doesn’t allow for such, you may consider joining our team. We have created a positive culture built on service, communication and innovation, empowered by our team of passionate Nashville tourism ambassadors.
The Director of Sales/Marketing role reports directly to the ownership of Mint Julep Experiences and has primary market responsibilities. This position encompasses both Sales and Operational Management oversight with responsibility for key performance indicators and the overall management of staff, sales growth, partner engagement and operational excellence. You will also serve on, and contribute to, the strategic planning team and support the current sales and marketing efforts. In other words, we are looking for someone great at numbers, has analytical skills and is great with people. The perfect candidate would be an individual who is self-motivated and loves being part of a startup environment on the ground floor.
The perfect candidate will have a background in hospitality and/or tourism and at least 3 year’s experience in the Nashville market in a comparable role. This candidate should also show initiative, problem solving skills, local knowledge of the ever-growing market, advanced technology skills and a proven sales track record. We are looking for someone with their finger on the pulse of all things Nashville!
Requirements:
- You must be a fun, energetic and a people loving person who gets things done.
- College degree or similar field experience preferred.
- Three year’s minimum in a sales, customer service-related position or similar hotel/tour management experience preferred.
- Technology: Our platform is built on Google suite and utilizes PipeDrive for our CRM and PandaDocs for our document management solution. Familiarity with these is an advantage.
The perfect candidate can effectively cope with fluid change, detail oriented, cool under pressure; Thrives in a Team concept; can be counted on to hold things together and can handle stress and is not knocked off balance by the unexpected. Relates well to ALL people; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact and can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
We require knowledge of general sales techniques, highly developed customer service skills, effective business writing skills, work on more than one task at a time, properly set and manage priorities and plan activities in advance, solve problems and make sound business decisions, respond positively to coaching, feedback and training.
