Now Hiring: Experience Sales Manager
Mint Julep Experiences is looking for our next team member within our growing sales/events staff located in our Nashville, Tenn., office. The Guest Experience Sales Manager is responsible for selling our product and services, developing sales contacts and performing sales activities in assigned markets. Guest Experience Sales Managers must be able to engage customers, analyze their needs and create tailored proposals and itineraries. You will be responsible for negotiating and closing sales while achieving sales targets and other key performance indicators.
The perfect candidate will have a background in hospitality and/or tourism and at least one year of experience in the Nashville market in a comparable role. This candidate should also show initiative, problem-solving skills, local knowledge of the ever-growing market, advanced technology skills and familiarity with digital marketing techniques. We are looking for someone with his or her finger on the pulse of all things Nashville!
- You must be a fun, energetic and people-loving person who gets things done
- College degree or similar field experience preferred
- One year minimum in sales, customer service-related position or hotel/tour experience preferred
- Technology — Our platform is built on Google Suite and utilizes Pipedrive for our CRM and Pandadocs for our document management solution. Familiarity with these is an advantage.
- Effectively cope with fluid change; can shift gears comfortably; and isn’t upset when things are up in the air
The perfect candidate is: cool under pressure, does not become defensive or irritated when times are tough, is considered mature, can be counted on to hold things together during tough times, can handle stress, and is not knocked off balance by the unexpected. Relates well to all kinds of people — up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organization; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact and can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
We require knowledge of general sales techniques, highly developed customer service skills, effective business writing skills, ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions,
work on more than one task at a time, properly set and manage priorities and plan activities in advance, solves problems and make sound business decisions, respond positively to coaching, feedback and training.
