Immerse yourself in two iconic industries
This full-day public tour brings the best of both worlds with visits to a picturesque horse farm and historic bourbon distillery.
You’ll spend the morning in Horse Country where top thoroughbreds are bred, trained and prepped for the Kentucky Derby and the world’s biggest horse races. After a delicious farm-fresh lunch, you’ll head to Bourbon Country for a tour and tasting at Buffalo Trace, one of the state’s oldest bourbon distilleries where a number of famous whiskey brands are distilled.
Horse farm destination varies – tours April-June visit Mill Ridge Farm, tours September-October visit Goldolphin at Jonabell Farm.
The cost is $139 per person and includes guided transportation with an expert tour leader, lunch, distillery tour and tasting, and horse farm tour.
This tour is available select Sundays and departs from the Mint Julep Gift Shop on the 3rd floor of the Rivue tour of the Galt House Hotel at 9:30 a.m. and returns at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Select horse farm and bourbon distillery tours are available the weeks of the Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup.
